“The property is very old. It needs to be updated. Our porch was sketchy lots of soft spots in the floor. Also the railings were very rickety. I definitely would not lean on it.”

“Samantha checked us in and is so friendly and kind. I enjoyed chatting with her almost every day during our week long stay. Debbie is an excellent server at the breakfast buffet and even gave us great advice on local bakeries and easy hiking spots to check out. Also, Yasheen is wonderful at the front desk. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The window had an unobstructed view of birch trees and forest. Very comfortable bed and we slept great. Parking was never a problem even during the busy……

“The hotel is just a half step off perfect. Starting to get a little aged and tired. But things went perfect. Great breakfast!”

“The property is out dated with soft beds and not much to do on the property for adults. Our entry door had spider webs and so did the patio. We hear a loud noise every 20 to 30 minutes and it was coming from the basement. Definitely would not stay here again.”

“What a wonderful boutique hotel! The rooms are clean and many rooms have a mountain theme. Their lobby store is wonderful! So many cute things and all local to New Hampshire! The restaurant in the hotel is amazing. Highly recommend the Common Man!”

“Over all we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the staff pleasant and accommodating. We did not use the pool. The building is very close to the road which could be noisy at times. The diner next door and the burger place across the street were very convenient and very good.”

“All mattresses seemed very old and springy in all rooms. Shower and toilet crammed into small room, could not sit comfortably when using rest room and I'm only 5'9 215 lbs. Everything else was good. Kitchen was well stocked with pans, plates, small appliances etc. First time staying at a place like this. Will just use a hotel next time so we can get fresh linens etc.”

“Very clean and well stocked rooms. You can get extra towels for the pool. Plenty of parking and staff is always welcoming and helpful. We have stayed there many times and love the rooms with kitchen and separate bedroom and pet friendly!”
